 about

Pupils explore and experiment with specialised techniques, skills, and materials through the theme of Architecture, investigating how artists respond to the built environment. They record the human landscape using traditional methods such as drawing, painting, and printmaking, while also developing digital skills through camera work and Photoshop.

Throughout the project, pupils study the work of artists including Edward Wadsworth, Keith Haring and Catrin Williams, using their approaches to inspire creative outcomes.

This process encourages curiosity, independence, and confident experimentation, building on prior learning and preparing pupils for the expectations of GCSE Art.
